1909-D $10 Indian Head Pre-33 Gold Eagle NGC AU58 Very Small Mintage Of 121,540
Bold and beautiful orange peel colored surfaces. This coin is amazing in hand. Tucked away for a few years after it was graded by NGC. This coin is as nice as many Mint State coins Ive seen on the market today. We just picked this up out of a local collection thats been off the market for a number of years. Its a nice bright problem free example. Struck at the San Francisco Mint. Low Mintage only 121,540 were struck at the Denver Mint with many melted down and not put in circulation. The obverse features a portrait of Lady Liberty wearing a Native American headdress, encircled by 13 stars, and the year of mintage. The reverse displays a proud American eagle clutching a bundle of arrows and an olive branch along with the denomination.
